Mattel WWE Elite 27 Finally Up For Pre-Order!

Mattel WWE Elite 27 is one of the most anticipated Mattel WWE wrestling action figures sets of all time. Featuring three Flashbacks and three sought after modern day Superstars, this set is bound to be one of the most popular Mattel WWE Elite sets ever. The set features:

Undertaker
Billy Gunn
Fandango
Rob Van Dam
Kofi Kingston
Rikishi

The Undertaker has yet to have a main line Mattel WWE Elite figure sporting his new hairdo. This will hopefully be the figure that those who love the current Phenom have been waiting for.

Fandango’s first Mattel WWE Elite figure has extra articulation and a vest so fans can re-enact all his entrance shenanigans and pose him as a true dancer.

Kofi Kingston’s figure is still a bit of a mystery. Will it include an Intercontinental Championship from his latest short-lived run? Or will he be sporting his new long tights?

Once one of the most popular WWE Superstars, Rikishi Fatu grooved his way into the hearts of many Attitude Era fans. His figure will most likely offer plenty of stink-faces to go around.

Rob Van Dam triumphantly returned to the WWE at Money in The Bank 2013. A classic and beloved Superstar, this is his first Mattel WWE figure so fans of The Whole F’n Show are truly excited.

Four WrestleMania Staples…Commemorated in Mattel WWE Form!

When you think of WrestleMania, many illustrious names come to mind. To celebrate WrestleMania XXX, Mattel has chosen four of those names to release in a special Mattel WWE Series set that are synonymous in the thoughts of many with WrestleMania. The set will include:

John Cena in Mattel WWE WrestleMania XXX Series!

The inclusion of John Cena is no surprise as his WrestleMania success has overshadowed that of many of his peers. Having won World Championships at the big event multiple times, John Cena is a WrestleMania staple and looks to continue similar success at WrestleMania XXX.

Perhaps the most successful WrestleMania participant ever, The Undertaker carries the longest running WrestleMania streak. At 21-0, The Deadman has been participating almost as long as the event has existed and looks to bring the number to 22-0 at WrestleMania XXX.

The Rock in Mattel WWE WrestleMania XXX Series!

The Rock has been ‘Just Bringing It’ to WrestleMania since the Attitude Era with a unique brand of no nonsense ass kicking and big mouthed boasting. His final appearance was at WrestleMania 29 after suffering a loss from John Cena but it would be a surprise to none for him to return and swing up, taking him back to The Great One status.

The ‘Next Big Thing’ Brock Lesnar is a Beast by nature and one of the baddest men on the planet. The Animal Returns? Batista Back in Mattel WWE Form?

The wrestling rumor mill is always busy this time a year as the WWE Royal Rumble is only about a month from Christmas and it’s always filled with ideas and thoughts as to who would surprise the WWE Universe and show up for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Recently, ‘The Animal’ Batista has been rumored to be making a return to the WWE after an almost 4 year absence. Here are two of his most popular Mattel WWE figures and another which could hint towards his return:

Mattel WWE Series 1 Batista!

Batista was a big part of the Mattel WWE Series launch, as seen here in his Series 1 wrestling action figure. With tattoos accurate to the time and some bright, classy red trunks, Batista was showcased as one of the star members of the WWE roster.

Mattel WWE Elite 6 Batista!

In Elite 6, Batista came back with a bad attitude and more tattoos. Wearing too-cool-for-school sunglasses, Batista’s final Elite figure before leaving the WWE was rude, crude, and exclaimed that basketballs don’t hold grudges. This has been Batista’s most sought after Mattel WWE action figure.

Mattel WWE WrestleMania XXX Batista vs. Brock Lesnar!

To commemorate WrestleMania XXX, Mattel released this Batista vs. Brock Lesnar ‘Fantasy Matchup’ Battle Pack showcasing a possible fight between The Animal and The Beast. Though Brock sports a classic look, Batista appears as though he never left and is ready to step back into the ring. The timing may be coincidental, but it seems as though Batista’s return to the WWE is imminent!

Move Over, Ken…Barbie Has a New Love Interest! 12″ Mattel WWE Figures!

A surprise release to everyone but Mattel, the WWE can now add 12-inch style action figures to its expansive list of toys! Featuring Alberto Del Rio, John Cena and Sin Cara, these will definitely give Ken a run for his money and make Barbie blush at their bulging muscles. Generally 12 inch toys are reserved for those geared towards girls, but these prove that anyone can play with dolls…or action figures, as we like to call them.

Sin Cara is the strong, silent type and sports white and gold ring attire and a Lucha Libre style mask to protect his mysterious face. The Mexican superstar suddenly seems new and improved and has been on a tear in the WWE so his action figure reflects his larger than life personality.

Of course, John Cena is featured as the highlight of this line, sporting his current tan cargo look and 10 Years Strong bands. With an All American, golden boy attitude and square jaw, Ken is in big trouble now that the WWE has taken over the 12 inch toy market.

Could The Ultimate Warrior Be Inducted Into the WWE Hall of Fame?!

The Ultimate Warrior made a surprise appearance to promote his inclusion in the WWE2K14 video game, sparking rumors of the end of a long time feud with Vince McMahon and a return, in some capacity to the WWE. Warrior hopefuls have enjoyed his appearance in the game and a multitude of Mattel WWE action figures in his likeness, but some are holding out for a surprise Royal Rumble entrance or even a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

Ultimate Warrior is paired with a modern day brawler much like himself in Sheamus to commemorate the upcoming celebration of WrestleMania XXX! With a color scheme of orange and yellow, black boots and Warrior symbols abound, this Warrior figure is a no nonsense Basic.

The Shield Delivers Justice in Mattel WWE Elite Form!

Finally, every member of the popular WWE stable The Shield is available in Mattel WWE Elite form. Wrestling action figure fans were able to snag Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in Elite Series 25 but had to wait to complete the trio with Roman Reigns in Elite Series 26. Now that all three are in stock, one of the hottest teams of the past decade is complete with total articulation.

Dean Ambrose, the unofficial leader of The Shield, has come into his own as the most vocal member of the group. He includes a video camera for recording viral videos and a folding chair incase the action gets too intense to handle with just fists.

Seth Rollins has put his foot forward in The Shield, becoming a Tag Team specialist and capturing the Championships with Roman Reigns. He adds balance to the group which is perfect for administering justice. He includes a breakaway table and tall ladder, just like The Shield made themselves famous with in 2012.

The quiet muscle of the group, Roman Reigns does not like to be pushed around and is beastly in his demeanor. He has perfected a version of the spear and defends The Shield’s brand of justice with brute strength. His figure includes a barricade so his devastating finisher can be re-enacted.
